Flipper & Snelly were too afraid to continue in the tournament after the explosive destruction of the obstacle course during the Steeplechase. Besides, they never really knew what the Way of Moderation was anyway, and were quite content to fish around in the moat, oblivious to Ubertuna's presence, or as it were now, absence.
For now I'll be concentrating on finishing the ArmorGames OCT, The Way of Moderation. At nearly two years, about six dozen participants, and over 1.1 million pageviews, the first phase of this project really needs wrapping up, which means getting it over the hump that is the serious Rounds Ten and Eleven.
Round 10, just completed, saw the tournament completely fall to pieces. The City of ArmorGames was raided and turned into rubble by the /b/tard and anon legions from Newgrounds, incited to riot by an embittered Klaus, who earlier, instead of seeing his dreams of becoming a moderator come to fruition, was exiled after going on a drug-fuelled rampage and eating one of the contestants (the giant banana, Banana King). The moderators and citizens alike were completely unprepared for this nightmare, and overwhelmed, suffered heavy losses. The bank quickly fell, the economy collapsing as news of its capture spread and looting consumed the city. With Nemo missing in action, and Moe incapacitated thanks to their encounters with Zophia's F-bomb, Strop found precious few capable of helping him sort out the mess he started, until he found two powerful veterans, the spartan Asherlee and the Dragon Mistress, yet since both of them were not moderators, they were beaten back when they attempted to take the bank back with veteran and tournament finalist, Crimsonblade. Strop went on a quest to survey the city and find other moderators capable of helping him only to witness the spaminator bot Flipski sacrifice himself in a desperate attempt to stop giant mutant trolls from smashing the castle itself. The attempt to extract Dank resulted in the destruction of Armor Academy, and escape was only possible at the last minute intervention of Zophia and keeper of the moat, Ubertuna, who attempted to take them through the tunnels only to be taken himself by the shark with whom he had continuing problems financing his ocean lodgings...
In short, the end of Round 10 saw the city in ruins, and the moderation team sink to the depths of despair, to the point that there was no team to speak of. Internal friction and squabbling saw the emergence of unlikely but still capable leader Zophia, who set them back on the task of forming a plan of somehow turning the impossible odds... Round 11: For Great Justice will detail what plan this might be, how it will play out, and how the people of ArmorGames might rally to aid their cause. Which brings us to this page. What is going on? Maybe find out on the AG forums!
